I am SO glad I had the opportuntiy to do this wedding. Brandon and Elise are just the sweetest couple and it is obvious how very much they love each other. It really has become a family affair for me with the Morgan's (and I am so thankful). One of my dear friends referred Brandon's brother, Dale, to me when he was getting married last year (sweet Aunt Carolyn). So, I was thrilled when I got the call from Brandon and Elise that they were looking for a wedding photographer. The Morgan's are such a sweet family and I look forward to seeing them again soon!

Ansley and Mike's Wedding

Talk about a BEAUTIFUL day for a wedding! Ansley and Mike just had perfect weather for their outdoor wedding in Flat Rock, North Carolina. The Highlands Lake Inn was the ideal setting for their wedding day.


I met Ansley a few years ago while photographing Wendi Walker Matt's wedding in Greenville. I am so glad that we met! Ansley is adorable and I have had such a good time getting to know her. I knew Mike would have a great personality, too...and I was right! He is hilarious and it was very easy working with him and the guys.


There was one downside to the Wright's wedding day...I had NO voice! This has happened one time a few years ago and, lucky me, it happened again! :) My sweet, sweet husband went with me and was my voice for the day. I don't know what I would do otherwise.


Ansley and Mike are a great couple and I know they will have a long, happy (fun!) marriage.


For all you prospective brides and grooms, if you are considering a wedding planner/coordinator, I highly recommend Amy Brookshire. We have done several weddings together and she is just great! She had the Wright wedding so organized...we always ran ahead of schedule and everyone knew what to do and where to be. She is the best! Contact me if you want her info.

Brookshire Family 2008

I met Amy a couple of years ago. She works as a wedding planner and I photographed one of her weddings (it is still one of my favorites!). I did family portraits for her last year, so I was pleased to get a request again this year. Her daughter, Livie, is precious and was MUCH more excited about having picture made this year! :) She didn't run away from the camera at all. :) I had a great time working with Amy, Steve and Livie in their home...what an appropriate setting.

Adison Raby

I have known Adi's mom since elementary school...we actually were rec cheerleaders together (talk about a lifetime ago!!!). I was happy to get Jill's call asking if I could do a session with Adi for Christmas. Once again, I headed up to the red barn for this session. This time, the barn was decorated with red bows for Christmas! Adi was the PERFECT model. I had a great time working with her.

Talbert Wedding

After missing Wrenn's bridal portrait session (we were in California for the birth of our son!), I was so glad to be back in SC in time for her wedding! Devine Wedding

This was a fun day! Heather and Mike are a great couple and their wedding was beautiful. I especially love the horse and carriage pictures and the portraits we did at the barn after the reception...they are gorgeous!!!

The Relan Family

When I say that it was a blessing to be able to do this shoot, I really, really mean it. This family has been through it this year and we are all so incredibly blessed to have little Ames in our lives. He has been through some really big stuff for such a small little guy. I am so thankful that God brought the Relans into my life and I give Him praise for all He has done through Ames.

Abbey, Adam and Ames are so great! We walked all over Falls Park (first, first thing in the morning!), taking pictures and having fun. We got to see puppies, ducks and mowers! Ames had a lot of fun and it shows in these pictures. We even got to get ice cream (yes, before 11am!:)) afterwards!

I hope you have as much fun looking through these images as I had taking them!

Morgan Wedding

What a pleasure it was to photograph this wedding. Deidra and Dale are such a sweet couple. I worked with Dale's aunt, Carolyn, at Tri-County Tech for years, so it was great to see that family again. They are all super nice and have a really great family.

I especially love the pictures of Deidra and Dale "laying down" on the wedding party...so cute.

Heather Venable's Bridal Session

Now...this bridal session sure did make me feel OLD for more than one reason!

One, I remember Heather when she was just a young girl, running around and playing with her cousins (her cousin, Christi, is my best friend and I spent LOTS of time with her family over the years). So, it is amazing to me that she is now all grown up and getting married!

Two, we did portraits in three (yes, three!) different locations. Talk about a marathon bridal shoot...this was it!!! By the end of the day, I was dripping with sweat and completely exhausted!!! I am knocking on "30's" door and feeling it more and more everyday. :(

Three, it was just plain HOT!!!

Anyway...you get the point, I felt old, but had a great time in spite of it! :)

We started Heather's session at the WONDERFUL Clemson University campus. We took pictures inside the stadium, all around Howard's Rock and the band section. Then, we headed over to Clemson's Botanical Gardens for a few (more traditional) shots. To end the session, we met up with one of Heather's friends at a barn near her parents home. He brought a great horse, Chocolate, with him for the shots. He added so much to the shots at the barn...you will really enjoy those shots.

Tim and Jessica's Engagement Session

I love doing portraits in downtown Greenville! It is such a great location to get a good variety of shots. I walked with Tim and Jessica from the Poinsett Hotel all the way to the bottom of Falls Park (good thing my husband, Travis, was there to walk back and get the car for us!:)) and we took pictures everywhere along the way.

Jessica Lowe's Bridal Portraits

I am soooo very excited to have the opportunity to work with Jessica. Her future father-in-law (Max Bishop) was my florist for my wedding 2 years ago. He is one of the sweetest and kindest people you could ever hope to meet and he in incredibly talented. You just can't even imagine how beautiful he made my wedding day...he went SO far beyond the call of duty. He is an awesome man (His wife, Sherry, is also a special, special lady.) I highly recommend him!

Now, back to Jessica...:)

Jessica and Tim will be getting married in September, so we went ahead and did her bridal portraits this summer at the Kilgore-Lewis House in downtown Greenville (if you read my blog often, you know this is a fav!).

Jessica's dress is BEAUTIFUL and she is a stunning bride! So photogenic! We had a great time walking around the grounds and finding great spots for her portraits. I hope you enjoy browsing through the gallery...

Erin and Dan's Wedding

More fun with Erin and Dan!!! :)

This gallery contains images from their entire wedding day. I arrived while the girls were finishing up make-up in their suite at the Hyatt and didn't leave until the band finished playing at the end of the night! It was quite a day, but seemed like photographing a friend's wedding.

We had plenty of time to do lots of family and friend pictures prior to the wedding, which was great. I was really excited to get to do so many shots with Erin and Dan before the wedding. I hope these will be cherished for years to come!

The wedding was beautiful...the room looked amazing (The Planned Affair is AMAZING!!!). It was the perfect setting for Erin and Dan. The reception was also great...the band was incredible (The Neons from Georgia). They really were one of the best I've seen so far.

Erin and Dan's Katubah Signing

I love this couple! They are just so great together and they are so personable. I really feel like I've gotten to know them and call really call them "friends."

Erin and Dan signed their katubah at the Hyatt Regency in Greenville, SC the night before their wedding. It was great to meet all of their family and close friends.

Akers Wedding

Talk about a hot wedding day!!! Oh my goodness, this one takes the cake. :) Despite the heat, Jessica and Willaim had a beautiful wedding.

The location was just perfect, a lovely little church in Ninety Six. It really was one of the cutest little churches I've been to. The couple's family and friends surrounded them all day...it was quite touching to witness. Jessica's father sang during the ceremony (and, yes, this was a tear-jerker!:)) and Jessica quitely sang along...it was PRECIOUS!

Even though the air conditioning went out at the reception venue, Jessica and William made it a fun event. Their cake was awesome...smurf blue (do you guys remember the Smurfs???) with polka-dots...very unique. William enjoyed finally getting to check out Jessica's bridal portraits.

Carly and Jay's Wedding

This was a really special wedding for me! Carly is my younger cousin, so it was so awesome to be able to photograph her wedding.

There were many unique touches that made this wedding so "Carly and Jay." I have to say that my favorite was the horse-drawn carriage that brought Carly to and took the couple from the ceremony. I even got to ride with them from the ceremony! :)

Chrissy's Maternity Session

Since some of you asked, I decided to go ahead and post this gallery.

Chrissy is one of my very, very best friends (love you girl!) and she delivered her first child, Parker Allen Corn, on February 24 of this year. Since she was so super cute while she was pregnant, I couldn't resist doing a maternity session with her.
To make Chrissy super comfortable, I shot this entire session at her home. She and her husband, Mark (one of Travis' best friends), and their dog, Tessy, were happy to pose for the pictures. I loved being able to do shots in Parker's room before he even got to sleep in it! :)

I especially LOVE the shots of Mark and Chrissy's hands on her belly...how sweet!
